In the 7 years we’ve been in business we’ve experimented with over 30 different scents of whipped shea, cocoa and mango butter ???? Our current line consists of 24 whipped butters, all scented with essential oils that are either steam distilled or cold pressed from plants. No synthetic fragrances here! It’s no wonder our customers say our butters smell good enough to eat! Here’s a handy guide to our whipped shea, cocoa and mango butter scents. Our Unscented Whipped Shea Butter contains raw/unrefined shea, giving it a slightly nutty smell. Our Whipped Mango Butter has a very faint leafy scent. Remember, mango butter comes from the seed of the fruit, not the flesh, so sadly it does not smell like mangoes!
We use a high portion of virgin coconut oil in our Mango Shea Blended Butter and Coconut Whipped Shea Butter. Customers say these smell like a sweet coconut cake.
Citrus essential oils smell incredible! Our Grapefruit Whipped Shea Butter is bright and refreshing. It smells like a freshly squeezed grapefruit!
We love the sweet, intoxicating smell of chocolate! Our Whipped Cocoa Butter smells like a chocolate candy bar. Our Cocoa Shea Blended Butter has a milder chocolate scent, tempered by the shea in the mix. Some customers have referred to it as our Hot Chocolate Butter. Our Olive Oil Whipped Cocoa is one of my favorites. It is super chocolately with deep notes of bitter olive oil to offset the sweet.
These butters are some of our funnest creations. Orange Creamsicle Whipped Shea Butter is a delicious blend of vanilla (via vanilla extract) and citrus (orange and grapefruit essential oils.) Candy Blended Butter is a mashup of sweet citrus essential oils (lemon, grapefruit and lemongrass essential oils) and licoricey chamomile essential oil.
Coconut Lime Whipped Mango Butter has a strong coconut base with lime oil layered on top. Lemon Cream Blended Butter smells like a pie. It’s a coconut base with vanilla extract and lemon oil layered on top.
Ice Cream Blended Butter is a tasty mash up of a cocoa base with vanilla layered on top. And Vanilla Whipped Shea Butter is just that! Refined shea butter scented with pure vanilla extract. Customers refer to that as our Vanilla Ice Cream butter.
Our Lavender Whipped Shea Butter is scented with Bulgarian lavender essential oil, which is bright but a little sweet. Lemon and Lavender Blended Butter combines lemon essential oil and lavender essential oil for a crisp, sweet scent. Our Rose Blended Butter is scented with pure rose absolute. Our newest floral is Lavender & Cocoa! It’s lavender essential oil on top of a deep cocoa base. Yum!
Sandalwood & Bergamot Blended Butter is one of our all-time best sellers. It’s a delicious match up of citrusy bergamot and woodsy sandalwood for a scent that is sweet and clean. We put Lemongrass Whipped Shea Butter in this category because lemongrass is citrus with woodsy undertones.
You can’t imagine my excitement when I discovered coffee essential oil! It’s as delicious as it sounds, smelling like a fresh-brewed cup of coffee! Mocha Latte Blended Butter has a base of cocoa, with coffee oil on top and Vanilla Latte Blended Butter has a base of vanilla scented shea butter with coffee oil on top. They smell like a cup of Starbucks coffee!
A whipped butter selection wouldn’t be complete without mint! We mix sharp peppermint essential oil with mellow spearmint essential oil for a blend that is minty, sweet and delicious. We also have a Mint Chocolate Body Butter that is a mash up of raw whipped cocoa butter and peppermint oil for a blend that smells exactly like a Thin Mint or Peppermint Patty. Delicious!
