Support our business and the planet by returning your empty BGLH Marketplace containers! (***You must return a minimum 5 containers at a time.***)
Select the size and amount of container(s) you’re returning, click “Add to Cart”, and checkout as you would a regular order. We’ll reply (within our 7 to 10 day processing time) with a postage label you can use to ship your empties back to us. (Make sure to include the lids!) Please enter your shipping address under “billing details”. We will use that address for the return postage.
Customer Return FAQ
- Is this a rewards program? Unfortunately no. To borrow a tech term, this is our “beta test” of a mail-in container return program. We need to work out the logistics and financials of a program like this before we add a rewards element.
- Do I pay for postage? No! The return postage is absolutely, 100% free. All you will have to do is print out the label we email you, and drop off your package at a local post office or USPS drop box.
- Do I have to clean the containers before returning them? It’s up to you! If you want to, great! If not, you don’t have to. Whatever condition they arrive in, they’ll be thoroughly sanitized once we receive them.
- Will the returned containers be re-used? Absolutely yes. Although this is our first mail-in program, we’ve been sanitizing and re-using returned containers for the past 10 years. Some customers mail their empty containers back at their own expense. When we were located in Brooklyn, customers returned empty containers in-store. This is just the first time we are providing free postage so customers all over the country can return their containers.
- How are the containers sanitized? The return containers are heat washed with a non-toxic, bacteria-killing detergent.
- Can I return my used oil containers? Not just yet.
- Can international customers participate? Unfortunately no. We encourage you to find local opportunities to re-use or recycle our containers!
