Yeah, I rock this and I get sooo many compliments and it’s easy to modify and make it look different. It works with a flat twist too! I think it works best on an old braid out or a blow out’s last leg of the race 🙂

Love love love this! I think it is do-able on any hair texture. Can’t wait to try this out!
If your hair is not long enough for a ‘braid down your back’ or you’re not a great braider I think the front of the style would look great and still retro paired with a french twist or low bun. Even if you can only flat twist the very front bang, you could probably do the sides going back by tucking the hair instead.

Can’t believe I never thought of this! My hubby’s a Motörhead and I rock the rockabilly look from time to time- Ive always straightened my hair to do victory rolls, but this braided style totally rocks!!
