I was kinda surprised everyone’s hair looked basically the same. I did like the different hair color on the icons
I don’t like any of them because there is NO REPRESENTATION OF THOSE WITH 4C HAIR. Yes, Romance is a 3C/4C Mix – but the vast majority of her hair is 3C. I would have loved to see a style-icon listed that has predominately 4C Hair.

All the girls have beautiful hair and loads of style, but I chose Andrea because in addition to her hair and overall style, I thoroughly enjoyed her personality. If we could choose more than one, Kara would be my second choice.
I chose Shenique from Jamaica because I have a soft spot for purple natural hair and her regimen is relatively simple.

I chose Breanna because her hair is similar to mine and since finding her on this site, i’ve learned ALOT of techniques from her Youtube channel.
My favorite isn’t on this list . Naptural85 and razorempress all though there hair is gorgeous roo .

Although, I did like Breanna’s and Kapri’s features, I voted for Kara. One of the reasons is because it was in the 4 type range and I wanted to give 4 type ladies(A texture that is sometimes resented) a chance to be in the spotlight. Congratulations to all of you for being picked, This is my first time voting on here.
What about Christian from Barbados? She was actually my favourite. Too bad I can’t vote for her 🙁
Uuuum, maybe they have their hair all straightened, and I don’t really take notic of hair icons’ notoriety so I might have missed one, but is there a single 4C type style icon here?
I was thinking the same, not that much diversity among the choices…
BGLH just revamped the style icons this year though.
BGLH are only showing who was more/most preferred and it seems that it was these ladies. Can we stop worrying about hair type/texture for a min and just be happy for them??
