9 Natural Caribbean Vloggers to Follow on Youtube

My Caribbean ladies are up next! Here are nine vloggers from Haiti, Jamaica, Barbados, Trinidad (Trinidad and Tobago), BVI, and U.S. Virgin Islands, just to name a few.

1. RazorEmpress

RazorEmpress

Raynecia (RazorEmpress) hails from Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. If she looks familiar, it is probably because she was also featured as a BGLH style icon in 2012.

2. Toya1825

Toya1825

Toy1825, from Jamaica, is a fairly new natural vlogger but she has a good collection of video tutorials already. I first noticed her gorgeous mini twist pics (and skin) on Pinterest and then started following her on YouTube.

3. Jasmine Rose

Jasmine Rose

The beautiful (inside and out) Jasmine Rose is of Haitian descent and lives in New York.  I LOVE the quality of her videos; the time and care she puts into her channel really shows.  She shares information on everything from makeup looks, to loc styles, to recipes, to vlogs about her life.

4. CaribBeauty

CaribBeauty

CaribBeauty is Barbadian and has been featured on here a few times for her hair styles (e.g., 5 Cute Protective Styles for Fall and 5 Fly Natural Hair Styles That Can Withstand Humidity). She also shares makeup tutorials on her channel.

5. MsVcharles

MsVcharles

I’ve been following Trinidadian MsVcharles, or Vee, for a long time.  In addition to hair care and style tutorials, she shares tons of do-it-yourself (DIY) videos.  To top it all off, she has a lovable personality!  And so do O and Dimples!

6. Chery818

Chery818

Another Haitian, Chery818, is a natural vlogger on YouTube.  Though she recently shaved her hair, her channel is filled with useful information for you 4C naturals.  Also, do check out her Love For Haitian Food channel.

7. Glamazini

Glamazini

Hailing from the U.S. Virgin Islands, Roshini (Glamazini) is one of the original (yes, original!) natural hair bloggers out there.  Some years back, she made her move to vlogging as well.  Blog and channel, combined, her information on natural hair care is endless.

8. Naptural85

Naptural85

The popular guru Whitney (Naptural85) is of Jamaican descent and lives in Massachusetts.  If you don’t already know, she has a few other channels, one of which I watch regularly: DearNaptural85 (about her family life).

9. SimplYounique

SimplYounique

Last but not least is SimplYounique, who recently big chopped again. She shares TONS of hair care tips and makeup tutorials on her channel.  Did you know she is Jamaican?

  1. Hello, I am a new YouTube natural hair vlogger. I have been natural for 17 years now, and I want to have a chance to partake with first time naturals all the tips and stories I have experienced through the years, so you guys wont make the same mistake. Check out my channel, like comment and subscribe . It would mean the world!

  2. Ok for these kind of articles can we please limit it to people who are ACTUALLY from the Caribbean. (i.e. born and raised, reside) and not Americans whose mom (or grandmother, or cousin or friend) is from the Caribbean, so they think they can claim the title. Pls. Tnx.

  3. Vanie0295 is from Jamaica. Also BlessedNelly is from Trinidad. I didn’t know Whitney was of Jamaican descent. Interesting.

  4. Thanks for including me in the list and hipping me to a fellow Virgin Islander! BUP! BUP! BUP! ?

  5. I follow most of these ladies. Great to see fellow Caribbean vloggers represented. Currently reppinf’ or the 473 #Grenada > youtube.com/veepeejay

  6. I “BlackOnyx77” am a proud Jamaican born and raised! Big ups to my fellow Caribbean ladies ????

  7. Shelisa Shay is a new Carribean 4c Hair vlogger . She is Trinidadian with Barbadian and Grenadian heritage .

  8. I follow two of them. They are all such pretty ladies. Gorgeous hair too. I’m going to check out their channels.

  9. Great to see the Caribbean ladies!!! I follow Toy1825, razorempress and a few others! Love their channels! I’m Antiguan and have recently started a natural hair vlog! It’s nice to join the sisterhood!

  10. Razorempres

I’m not Haitian. I’m from the British Virgin Islands, BVI. That should be fixed.

    1. I would have put her on instead of naptural because as long as I have been followings nap, she has never big up her culture so to know this is a shock

      1. I was a little confused about Nap being mentioned her, too. She has mentioned before that she’s of Jamaican descent, but I think she’s “half” (not sure), i.e., one of her parents is Jamaican (or has some Jamaican blood), but most of her lineage is African American.

        1. You’re right and I was confused as well.. I watch Nap85’s daily vlogs. She’s only half Jamaican (on her father’s side) and doesn’t seem too affiliated with her Jamaican side. She makes comments and homages to it every so often but to put her on the list here feels…a bit eh.
