MEET MICHAEL 👋

Michael is a long-time customer who, this year, became a copywriter for BGLH Marketplace! 🎉 That means he is creating content for our website and email newsletter. Let’s get to know him!

“Hello, BGLHM friends and family! My name is Michael, and it is an honor to write to you (and for you!). I hope you like my work.

Let’s see… I first heard about BGLHM w-a-a-y back during (the founder/owner) Leila’s days as a natural-care beauty blogger. (Blogging was big back then, and I was considering starting my own.) Just browsing at first, I saw the reviews. Then, I ordered a box as gifts for some great, hard-working ladies that I knew, and saw *how much* they appreciated what they got. That led me to keep ordering, keep giving, and eventually, to becoming a customer myself.

But, I am also physically disabled. I have severe (extreme) swelling in both of my legs and feet, which (makes it arduous to walk, and) causes my skin to harden into a thick, dry, craquelure layer. To moisturize, I used to use (only) Lac-hydrin or Am-Lactin; but now, I also use BGLHM’s whipped butters… and the whipped butters feel and smell better! Woo-hoo! 🥳  

Any good product is great, ya know? But a good product that’s elemental and natural, with no synthetics or gimmicks? And, that helps people — like me! — to look, smell, heal, and feel better? IMHO, that’s rare, and that’s why I’m a fan. It’s why I’ll keep buying, giving, and supporting the brand.
