But did you know that there is also variety in the texture of our products?
That’s right, some of our butters are thicker than others!
Now, let’s be clear – our butters are NEVER greasy. They’re all whipped for hours to achieve a light fluffy texture.
But as a rule of thumb, our thickest butters have raw shea as the only butter in the base.
Our raw shea whips are Unscented Whipped Shea Butter, Lemongrass, Lavender and Peppermint.
These will leave a warm coating on your skin before absorbing. They’re particularly good for rough areas — like heels, knees and elbows — but soft and spreadable enough for full body also.
A little less thick are our butters with mostly refined white shea in the base. Refined white shea butter isn’t as heavy as raw shea, but still heavier on the skin than mango and cocoa butter.
These are Vanilla Whipped Shea, Coconut Whipped Shea, Orange Creamsicle, Orange Grapefruit and Grapefruit Whipped Shea.
And that’s it for our heavier butters. Everything else we sell is really light and high in absorbency.
In terms of our very lightest butters, it’s our whips that contain all three butters in the base (mango, cocoa and shea butter.) These are Baby Powder Blended Butter and Mango Cocoa Shea.
