Actress Yaya Dacosta Rocks Blowout at 'Whole Lotta Soul' Movie Premiere
by
Black Girl With Long Hair
Yaya DaCosta rocked a fierce blow out at the premiere of her new movie “Whole Lotta Sole”. More photos are below. Ladies, what do you think of the look?
I don’t this is her hair. Look at this pic of her last night {taken from Chescaleigh’s fb} Something about the front looks like maybe she added hair. Her real hair is long and gorgeous but I think she has added some pieces. Either way she is beautiful! And I would love to see her interviewed on here:-)

When I get a blow out, my hair goes from medium length natural to looking like YaYa’s so I don’t think she has any hair added. I try to style mine with headbands so that is doesn’t just hang. I love her look!!
Don’t get me wrong, Yaya’s hair is simply GORGEOUS but I think she should have did bantu knots (as mentioned) or some type of curly or wavy style. I dont know, I cant put my finger on it but her hair is just like “blah” with such a cute outfit. She still looks beautiful though. I need to know how homegirl cleared her skin because I am struggling with breakouts and they are not cute! HELP!! LOL
Although I think her hair is lovely and very beautiful, I don’t like the blow-out look on anyone! It looks like one big bush! I think it would have been more sexy if she had her hair blown out, then proceeded to do a bantu knot-out! Now, that would have been banging! Also, she could have done some type of funky updo hairstyle. But, I guess that is the beauty of natural hair. We can wear our hair in so many styles. It really does not matter if any us like her hair or not, because it is her hair. I’m sure some people don’t care for some of my natural hairstyles, but their opinion don’t mean much to me! 🙂
That is a “whole lotta hair” on Yaya (see wut I did there?…lol)!!! I looove that the hair is just overwhelming her tiny frame and is not defined at all!!….sooo fluffay!!…Also she has great skin and great body.
YAYA is killing the GAME!
I completely approve the fun yet fierce look! She looks like she’s feeling herself with the dress, shoes, body, and hair and thats all that matters!

Love, love, love YaYa. I’ve been a big fan of hers since she first step on to ANTM, but…… I’m not a big fan of her blow out. I prefer a nice braid out or twist out over that.
I love the simplicity of the blow out. She looks great. That is one thing I love about natural hair. It doesn’t have to be styled like some are suggesting on here to look great.
I really hope here career can take off because she is talented.
All I can say is “Black Women Rock!” BEE-U-TIFUL hair! I find that while I do enjoy styled ‘styles’, I truly adore styles with limited construction and this is certainly a great example of deconstruction. Hmmmm…..The dress, while it’s not my style, she does look lovely. Perhaps a bright color, or color-blocking would have been better to play-up her beautiful skin or simply the classic black dress with fab accessories. But, that’s moi!
Love her style and hair and she was just one of my inspirations to go natural. I am glad she didnt decide to relax like so many others that felt too many ppl were riding their Natural Hair Band wagan adn went back to the creamy crack lolll
she looks GREAT!! Not only is she rocking it well but she looks comfortable in her own skin and she’s definitely glowing! How can one Not like it?? I love it 🙂
yaaas! love it! I love seeing natural hair rocked big and full with pride. Some people will look at it and deem it wild, unprofessional but it’s our hair and it’s beautiful….most amazing blowout evarrr!
She’s gorg and I love her dress….i’m happy to see that she’s doing very well for herself 🙂 her eva and fatima (in the fashion world especially) are really doing well.
I don’t think she’s using modeling as the basis for her opinion. Do either of them model half as much as they do almost anything else nowadays? And also remember…opinions are like…

She betta werk!!! Miss Yaya is getting it! And I am not mad at all!
So, to summarize (lol): Her hair is almost bigger than her. Her body is on point. And, I approve this look.
I love it! The simple sophistication of this blowout wows me!

Absolutely love it!
waiiiiiiiiiiiiit a minute! All dat is her hurrr?! What am I doing wrong then! LOVE IT!
I don’t know. Usually Yaya’s hair gives me life, but I’m not feeling it in these photos.
I have some serious hair envy if all of that mane belongs to her. It is as if a chemical has never touched those locks. I love it.
I love it
not really loving the style cause the ends look weird…. I love blow outs but not this one. I love her dress!!!
I love it!
*envious*

Just caught a serious case of hair envy! Love it!

Her hair is boss! Pulled from her face some would have looked even better, still gorgeous nonetheless.

Although I feel like it needs a shape so as not to look like it’s just “there”, I do like the full fluffy look.
Yeah… I’m going back to my blowout.
I love the dress…hair and shoes not so much…
Love her style and hair and she was just one of my inspirations to go natural. I am glad she didnt decide to relax like so many others that felt too many ppl were riding their Natural Hair Band wagan adn went back to the creamy crack lolll
Really? Like who?
Gill Scott pops up immedately to my mind
Yaya and Eva were great on ANTM. Love to both of them.
I don’t like it. It doesn’t even look like it’s styled at all to me. Not a fan of this look.
Gorgeous natural hair. I love it.
Me too.
Yaya is a BEAUTIFUL girl, but I’m not a fan of the hair, dress, or shoes. It just doesn’t look classy or put together.
she looks lovely.
#nope

I love that Yaya always proudly rocks her natural hair!
Love this chick! She’s intelligent and beautiful! And her hair is amazing!
Love her hair waow !! ^-^
Nice…
Her hair has grown a lot.
nice body and hair.
Another thing, I’ve always liked Yaya waaaaaaaay more than Eva. *sidebar*
Um — ok. Eva is fierce and will run circles around YaYa on any runway…

+1
LOVE IT! I’ve always loved the idea of big/fluffy hair.
Yes. Pretty!
Love her and her hair!
not at all. her hair is taking over her body 🙁
and its all hers no weaves or chemicals…love it…DON’T HATE!
Agreed! She has great hair but it is just hanging there and not really accentuating her pretty face but hiding it.
