MediaTakeOut.com is reporting that one of our favorite naturalistas, Yaya Dacosta, recently married her beau Joshua Bee Alafia! The pictures are a bit blurry, but it appears that Yaya incorporated some cornrows (at the sides) into her wedding do! More pictures below. Ladies, what do you think?

Yeah, sorry I found those pics too. Definitely not cornrows, but she’s natural and she put her hair up. Cool. I still remember Tyra fighting her about straightening her hair. Drama!

I’m not really sure that those are cornrows. It looks like a part of the charm/headpiece that she appears to be wearing. None the less, Yaya is looking beautiful as usual. It’s nice to see that she continued to stay true to herself on her big day.

I have always been a fan of Yaya, ever since she was ANTM. She seems like such a classy, down to earth lady, and is a fantastic actress and model. I have so much respect for celebrities that focus on their craft, rather than the limelight. Congrats to her and her hubby—she was a beautiful bride!
