Maybe I’m not paying attention, or maybe I just work too much, but when are all these natural events happening? I live in NY & I always hear about the events AFTER they happen. I need to be in the loop, or plan my own!

It was great event!! (I’m in the pony puff w/gray top) I have been a client of Dickey’s for 5 years, so that’s how I found out about the event. The natural hair scene here in NYC is huge. It’s almost overwhelming because every time I turn around there is a natural hair event. I have been natural all my life, so it’s not as exciting to me as it would be for a newbie. But if I do come across an event, I post it on my site.
I live in NYC as well and wish I’d known about this event too!
This natural scene is very inspiring, I would definitely attend an event like this if I know about it in advance.
My sign would read: I LOVE MY WOOLY BULLY! My hair and I definitely have a love-hate relationship, but it’s all mine and I wouldn’t change it for the world!

Talk about beautiful and sophisticated! I love that she kept her hair silver, rather then color it! It really gives her character!
I love this! So inspiring! This definitely makes me want to move to NYC, luckily the naturals scene seems like it’s picking up around here!

I KNOW. Thank goodness I love NYC, so I wouldn’t mind a road trip to attend an event like this. But DC is just as poppin with the natural scene. Some of our fierce-fun-fabulous naturals need to organize something like this. Hmmm…anyone from the DMV thinking what I’m thinking? LOL
I really wished they did have events like this in our area, I’m definitely up for attending and helping out!!

I wish I knew about this, because I live in NYC. I’m so bummed, I would have loved to have been in the midst of all that natural beauty, and could have definitely used the inspiration. I’m having a hair crisis 🙁
What gorgeous hair everyone has. The women with the blonde fro wow, love it. My favorite is the lady with neatly twisted hair. I love the diversity of natural hair.
