Teyonah Parris always looks absolutely gorgeous, whether she’s on the red carpet, at a photoshoot, or out and about. But lately she has been slaying to the tenth power. Her effortless combination of chic sensibilities with Black American/African-inspired couture is reminiscent of Nina Simone, and something we haven’t seen in a long time.
At the recent ESPY Awards she rocked a matching satin, emerald green head wrap/gown combo and absolutely, positively SHUT IT DOWN.

She is outstanding!! And gorgeous. Whoever does her makeup on the show should be on a retainer. Flawless!
Teyonah is a talented actress and she presents herself with much class and intelligence. She seems very sweet and humble.
Now that I’ve gotten that out the way, let me stan for a minute:
She is sooooo beautiful!!! And her hair is always on point. When I go get mine done, I often google Teyonah for hairspiration. To top it off, her fashions and makeup are always fly, and she has the audacity to be serving us bawdy, too?!
Black girls are just too much! Like, I can’t even. Teyonah is great representation for us in Hollywood. I wish her continued success.
