Tammy Rivera Gets a Quote About Friends and Enemies Tattooed Down Her Spine

Tammy Rivera took to Instagram to share her super cute, back tattoo … and we are completely here for it.  The tattoo is a quote from Jean Herald Gourville that is often misattributed to others, including Voltaire and Lil Wayne.  Here is what her tattoo says:

Protect me from my friends; my enemies I can handle.

Tammy captioned the image “Proverbs 31 The virtuous woman”.  If you are not familiar with the Bible chapter, it details the traits and incredible worth of a virtuous wife and mother.
While Tammy and Waka Flaka have decided to work on their marriage, we wonder if this ink job and caption have any relevance to their situation.  Nonetheless, she is slaying this back tattoo.

  1. Her friends are probably telling her she shouldn’t reconcile with her husband who has repeatedly and publicly disrespected her and engaged in infidelity; that’s what I would tell her if I were her friend. And that’s hard for her to hear, so she’s decided to treat everyone who doesn’t cheer every decision she makes as an enemy.

  2. nope.
In what context can this possibly be good. maybe I’m missing something, but I’d be hella offended if I had a friend who believed in this so much they would permanently put it on their body.
