The singer took to Instagram to make the announcement, posting this photo with the caption;
We would like to share our love and happiness. We have been blessed two times over. We are incredibly grateful that our family will be growing by two, and we thank you for your well wishes. – The Carters
Speculation had been swirling since last week, when Bey released an Ivy Park ad that seemed to show a protruding stomach.
2. Erykah Badu is always experimenting with her hair, including super-teeny-micro box braids. But it’s not often we get to see her real strands.
In an Instagram video posted yesterday, Erykah rocks her real strands, straightened and pulled up into a bun (while listening to new music maybe?!) Cute!
3. Tatyana Ali, whose father Sheriff Ali is a Muslim of Indo-Trinidadian descent, spoke out against Donald Trump’s Muslim ban.
“Immigrants and refugees come to the United States to experience the promise of freedom. Freedom to think on their own, freedom to share their thoughts and dreams, freedom to feed their family with the sweat of their brow and the fruit of their labor, freedom to raise their children in a place that is safe, where they can be sure that they will not be hunted or persecuted because of their ethnicity, religion, language, color or any other thing that might name them enemy in the place they are fleeing. My parents are immigrants, my father is Muslim. We now fear for his safety and have told him not to travel. How can that be? That in this great country, it’s own citizens and residents are afraid? My sisters and I are the products of my parents longing for something better, something more. America is only an idea. It is a beautiful dream. If we live in fear that dream will die. For it to thrive we must be brave and unwilling to let go of what we KNOW is right. This new vision of “carnage” and eminent “global war”, is not my dream, nor was it the dream of all of the residents, visitors and refugees who were detained in airports across the country this weekend. I believe that it is not the dream of most of us. I refuse to live in a nightmare. #resist”
