Rmichelle // Natural Hair Style Icon

so, once in a while, i will dig into the BGLH archives and profile a “style icon” i’ve featured in the past (though i used to use a different format; posting a couple photos at a time.) i profiled rmichelle back in october, and she is still one of my favorite style icons. her styles are clean, simple and very creative, and she plays around with shapes a lot.
it’s kind of funny, because her “hair philosophy” is totally different than mine. she’s DEFINITELY an “it’s just hair” girl.

– relaxing even after you’ve already experienced the conscious euphoria of natural hair…right…
i love it, because it reminds me that we don’t all have the same attitude about hair… and we don’t have to. we can all agree on one thing, though: we know dope hair when we see it…
