On a recent vacation in Turks & Caicos Rihanna let her hair down, ditching her signature weaves and wigs to rock a simple, cute French-style braid with her real hair.Â
It’s not often we see Rihanna this stripped down, although she did wear her real hair for a Dior sunglasses campaign earlier this year.
We love how artful Rihanna is in evolving her aesthetic, which often involves sporting some incredibly beautiful weaves and wigs, but it’s also a treat to see her rocking a simple style.

No, this IS a frenchbraid. Cornrows are very different from this (a quick Google search will show you that)

before you say these are “facts” actually try to look up if what you are saying is true the one with the white girl is french braids, the one with the cornros is the black girl
Look up what??? Unless we’re looking at two different articles, there are a couple of pics from different angles of Rihanna sporting a French braid in the beach. No white girl anywhere. Stop sniffing the glue.
And I believe you meant “cornrows.” You should have tried looking up the spelling, as well as taken a course on capitalization and punctuation before telling me what I should look up. 😉
It’s not VERY different, though. Cornrow is just an inside out frenchbraid and the same vice versa. One you flip it over, the other you flip it under.
Can’t help but notice a lot of Bobby pins. She has a lot of breakage-hair can’t even reach the braid. We know it won’t happen but maybe she should lay off the “other” people’s hair for a minute before more damage is done. Gorgeous girl!

She’s pretty. Its just a french braid though why is this news. Side note, I think she got forehead lowering surgery as its much smaller now than before.
