Thanks Sarah for submitting these gorgeous photos! I wish I could get a back view of the style, but it looks really elegant from the front. More photos below.
Raven’s hair is so much more beautiful natural as all black African American women’s hair. I hope to see more of you around in pictures and of course in live arenas. I hope that more African American women choose to go natural by seeing that you’ve done it and pulling it off way pass well
I agree. The hair is nice, but together it all comes off quite matronly for such a young woman. I will say that fits her personality though. Years ago I saw an interview with her when she was like 19 and she came off sounding like a 30-40 something woman. Like Raven has LIVED for her years–or spent too much time around her mother and her contemporaries.
Raven looks very nice in the dress, but not feeling the eyebrows to much. I wouldn’t mind having those shoes, they look hot.

Did you guys see that Venus Williams is apparently team Natural as well? who knew 🙂 I saw it mentioned on this site with more pics. http://www.jayblessed.com/?p=16331

I have always been a fan. She is a great example for young women, bright, beautiful, great sense of humor…did i mention humble? My only concern is that she has lost a lot of weight, and I hope she stops. I know it is hard trying to fit hollywood’s idea of beauty, but she is close to that lollipop (head way bigger than body.
No, she is supposed to look balanced (there is a middle ground between pinhead and lollipop). Many in Hollywood starve themselves to death because they want to remain employed, I hope she does not succomb to that. She looks great, but any more weight loss will take her into lollipop territory (in my opinion of course).
I don’t understand why this topic keeps being addressed every time someone famous loses weight. Raven has been in the business for most of her life. She has had & continues to have a successful career despite having been overweight. She doesn’t need to lose weight to remain employed. Maybe she’s doing this for herself. And IF she’s doing it to remain employed, so what? That’s the career she CHOSE so she’s going to do what it takes to be successful in that career. Losing a lot of weight does not equal losing too much weight. See the difference?
Since when is whether or not someone’s head is too large/too small for their body the determining factor in whether someone has lost too much weight? Some people are genetically inclined to have a smaller/large head even at their ideal weight. That argument is tired.
I know you said you’re a fan of hers, and I’m not saying you made up your mind that she’s doing this in response to pressure from Hollywood, but why is this always brought up when someone sheds pounds? Especially, when it’s a woman. People–even famous ones–continue to die from heart/weight related issues. She took steps in the right direction.
That’s the way her eyebrows naturally grow. I remember her commenting on Wendy Williams saying that people always talked about her eyebrows. She said “they grow upside down.”
Funny that she has to “figure out her eyebrows” on a natural hair website where we are all supposed to be supporting each other for our natural beauty and attributes. oh, okay then.
She is so beautiful. And she looks so fresh and radiant. People keep saying that she looks sick, but I beg to differ! She is looks flawless! Natural and all!

She looks beautiful! And her eyebrows suit her too!
I dunno…I feel like this whole look is aging her. The hair is fine, but the hair with the embroidered dress and shawl is too much. She’s 26 not 46.

So is she supposed to look like a pinhead: big body, little head? She was overweight before and I think she looks great now; not too thin too.

I just want her to figure out her eyebrows. Damon. Anastasia?
