so, i rarely go off-topic on my blog, and there are few perpetually flat-ironed naturals who get a free pass to appear on BGLH… but michelle obama is DEFINITELY one of those women.
ok, i’m a news junkie by nature and i have been following the G-20 summit** in London twitter style, lol.
i refresh the page of the NY times every few hours to see what’s happening next, and to see what fabulous outfit michelle obama is wearing!!!
look man, i’m overwhelmed by her bombness. seriously, it makes me want to PISS my pants! so i feel COMPELLED to take time from my regular blogging schedule to pause and reflect on how the wife of the leader of the free world is reppin’ for black women EVERYWHERE!
(i mean, i’m still secretly hoping she stops flat-ironing so much… but at this point, michelle obama can do no wrong!)
**the G-20 summit is a gathering of leaders (and their wives/husbands) from the largest 19 world economics, plus the european union

Unless I’m wrong, I believe she does not rock a relaxer. Michelle is a “straight” natural.
Michelles hair is natural, Its just severly overly blown out and flat ironed.

I adore her in every sense of the word.
I love that the children are natural and rock twists. Especiall the older daughter. I think it’s good for young black girls to see the first daughters rockin natural styles. It helps them see how versatile natural hair can be.
