Natural Bride: Wendy

When did you and your husband meet?
W:
I met my husband in June 2002. I was in vacation in Haiti when my cousin brought me to a party, where my husband-to-be was playing (he’s a DJ). It was love at the first sight like they say :o) We started dating 5 weeks later. Since I had to travel back to France we decided to try to long distance. It only worked two years but I guess we were ment to be together! The proof: here we are today :o)

I got married on December 4, 2010 in Petion-ville, Haiti. I moved back in Haiti, and one of the reasons was him :o)

How was your big day?
W:
It was definitely THE day! I felt truly blessed! I had my son, my parents, my family and my friends with me. After all that we’ve been through, it was really a blessing for me to have the people that I love and cherish with me on that special day. And I’ll never stop thanking God for that.

How did you wear your hair?
W:
I had a straw set on with a really nice handmade headband.

What was your process of deciding how to style your hair?
W:
To be honest, I did not decide. My hair stylist chose the hair do. I only told him that I wasn’t gonna put chemicals in and he had the same opinion. I knew he was gonna give me something nice.

How did your family/husband/guests receive your hair at the wedding?
W:
Everybody loved it! The only thing was that I had cut some of my hair, so hubby was kind of disappointed about that. But hey, my hair was looking fly! So he had to admit that even short, my hair was well done!!

Is there a blog/webpage where we can find you?
W:
I’m on Fotki: f2x ;o) you are welcome to come and visit my page. Love and blessings.
