Jeffree Star, musician and owner of the popular Jeffree Star Cosmetics, is making headlines again today after threatening (via Twitter) to beat up  Instagram beauty guru and celebrity makeup artist, MakeupShayla. Star is no stranger to internet controversy. Last month, Star blasted Kylie Jenner on Twitter and Snapchat for producing what Star considered sub-par lip glosses.  Rumors of a now-deleted MySpace video in which Star supposedly goes on a racist rant and uses the “N word” have also been floating around for years.

Jeffrey Star has talked so much crap over the years about other people and yet he suddenly feels the need to stand up for the feelings of someone else. Star has called a 15 year old child a c word so forgive me for questioning his new found decency. He’s a bully.

I was just looking at Mariale’s text , she just thanking for backing her up but she never agree on what supposedly Shayla said. So That text I do not consider as proof. Dos ever Mariale said sth about it ?
I think this really depends on how and why Shayla said it. For example, if she was asked about lip injections and advice on whether that person should get it, she might have just replied bluntly and came across extremely stupid on hindsight (you know, those people who speak their minds without using their brain). In that case, I dont think you have to be that mad over it, but just classify her as a typical dumb bitch and ignore her. But, I mean if she saw you and said this out of the blue.. then i guess that is one mean bitch. Either way, Jeffree’s intention was probably good, but I think he overreacted.. Cunt? That word is heavy.
To me it looks like she’s trying to publicly save face by denying her words and staying non-confrontational. I don’t think he’s making things up for shits and giggles, especially since he has no reason to.
I don’t like him nor do I agree with him, but I really dont put those words past her. Her personality (from her videos) seems very fake.

My multi-account stalker, who brags on Disqus about being “light-skinned,” spends all free time on gossip blogs living vicariously through so-called celebrities’ every hiccup due to misery in her own bland, empty existence, and actually worships at the altar of Kim Kar-trash-can and admires Kim’s surgically deformed buttocks (lol…almost any black female celebrity chosen at random has natural curves that are actually nice) could be expected to get personal in attacking a black woman’s success and husband in a jealous, embittered rage. It’s painful for some who feel they should be worshiped on the basis of being “lightskint” to see a darker-toned woman secure in her beauty and femininity, attract the love of a handsome man, and be treated with respect by her white male colleagues, so it’s no surprise she’d hope to destroy me rather than feel as happy and inspired as I am by other black women’s successes. Unfortunately for you, my white male colleagues are straight, conservative, Fox News-watching, suburban married men (one unmarried) who don’t care about that. You’re out of luck, dear. 😉 (I’m more moderate and find CNN more palatable than MSNBC or FOX, which are both propaganda.) My block list gets its first name, as I have no use for a jealous admixtured woman who envies authentic blackness due to her identity issues, thinks Kar-trash-can is a queen, and posts about celebs all day. My daughter will never be like this.
I always defend the right of lesbians and gay men to be with whomever they please, even in audiences where I’m the only one who holds that opinion. I’ve been part of LGB communities, though I prefer and only dated men. I don’t believe they’re a threat to marriage as some do. Transsexuality doesn’t exist in biological and anthropological reality, and I don’t believe men should share a woman’s and girls’ locker room for our safety. I’m fine with the little labels. I had a good friendship with a young guy I knew was bisexual, which was fine, but admitted long after that he was “trans,” and went through months-long stages since childhood presenting and dressing as a girl/woman. I was shocked and felt betrayed that he’d misrepresented himself. He sent pics of himself in dresses and makeup, asking if he was pretty. He was a handsome man but an ugly “woman,” with huge feet, torso and shoulders squeezed into frilly dresses and little-girl style shoes and socks, like a strange doll. I tried to be subdued about my views because he was extremely sensitive and loved me as a person. We avoided the subject mostly, but he sent pics at random, pressuring me for my opinion, even after I hurt his feelings a few times. He was taking hormones to transition and wanted to dress as a woman when he next came to visit me in the big city I lived in then. I began avoiding him, but then admitted I couldn’t be the friend he needed, and ended the friendship 1½ year ago. In one breath he’d say he was a woman and in the next, “My boyfriend was straight before meeting me. I’m going to make him forget women.” He made anti-men comments at times, and would laugh and say “yes,” when I asked if he was self-hating. He expressed jealousy over the fact he’d never menstruate or get pregnant. He seemed to have no logic, though he was intelligent and rational apart from that. I feel bad for trans as souls in turmoil with deep confusion and self-hate, who often self-harm or commit suicide when surgery and hormones can’t make them what they want, while accepting their bodies and receiving counseling also fails. I try to live and let live – except when they want to share a locker room or claim to be “more woman” than women, especially black women, pointing out that this one has short hair or that one a weave as proof she’s less woman.
Umm 1. I think you are mixing me up with someone else? Never responded to anything you’ve ever said…For starters I am not light skinned, rarely post, and find Kim Kardashian quite distasteful. Secondly, When you call people “it” “things” and “creatures”, you take their humanity away from them. You are downgrading them to an object. That’s wrong, and I’m glad that you aren’t friends with your trans guy anymore. That being said, I don’t think we have to have the same opinion on whether being trans is “right” or “wrong”, but name-calling will ALWAYS be called out by me.

She’s always on his channel and instagram and he is one of the only makeup people to focus an entire video on how his makeup looks on women of color.

Agree. I think he just enjoys provoking black women particularly because he’s angry inside and he sees black women as prime target for an argument/drama. He seems to always be looking for a quick fight. It’s so sad.
I can’t be bothered with drama between famous celebs, much less between low-list celebs I’ve never heard of. I don’t know these people. They have too much time on their hands.

Now that I know this ugly ‘queen and his makeup exist, I’ll be sure not to buy it. I don’t know why some women take beauty advice for attracting straight men from ‘queens and trans. They haven’t done women’s makeup trends any favors. The makeup many modern women wear is often overdone so that some of us look like fake women. Women in the runway modeling industry, which is run by gay men, have prepubescent boy’s bodies. Many modern gays and especially trans are out to even the playing field for themselves by making the image of womanhood less feminine or like overdone, faux women. That Star creature was triggered by the talk of lip injections and lost its bananas. A real woman, with luciously full lips and bodily curves like the Shayla person, is threatening to some wannabe women. The thing immediately sought to de-feminize the woman by suggesting she deserved to be beaten like a man for promoting feminine beauty features, like full lips. A lady keeps her composure, as Shayla did. Shayla handled herself with class and femininity, so we can see who’s the lady and who’s the savage.

Black women as women – the ultimate women, mothers of humanity – deserve to be protected by men rather than brutalized by men, as men tend to be physically stronger and bigger than women on average. A real man has a biological instinct to protect womanhood from danger, while a disordered male has a natural instinct to destroy women. I’m unapologetically pro-black womanhood, and will come for any group that racially comes for one or all of us, as this ugly drag male thing’s fans have when calling her racial slurs. I work in the STEM field, and subscribe to science and logic on the topic of human sex and biology. Women tend to have curves due to our higher levels of estrogen. Estrogen tends to produce a more curvaceous body structure. That’s a physiological reality.
I didn’t even imply that gays are more likely to be pedophiles, but if that’s what you chose to project onto it, good for you. Who other people are attracted to is irrelevant to my existence, so I am unbothered by homosexuality and bisexuality.
I did say that women err in taking cosmetic and body advice from gay men, who tend to mainly see the beauty in less feminine body structures, and may even be trying to level the playing field for themselves. Many models in the fashion industry have eating disorders, and when they get dangerously thin, their hormones go out of whack and they stop having menstrual cycles. Obesity has the same effect of changing the balance of one’s hormones. Women (and men) just aren’t meant to be that way, which is why their health and hormonal imbalance suffers. Fashion and mainstream media companies in general are nearly universally owned by men, which is a verifiable fact. Even if they were owned by women, that’s like women defending women being beaten by husbands, cheated on by men, raped after it was done to them.
I don’t believe transsexuals exists outside of their own minds. I don’t know why it gets a letter under LGBTQ. It’s irrelevant to me what little nicknames you call me, such as “transphobic,” due to my subscription to biological and anthropological – that is science – over wishful thinking. If an anthropologist studying the bone and such characteristics of an unknown deceased would determine it’s a man, for example, then it’s a man.

You and your little friend didn’t address the racists who attacked the black woman with slurs and threats, but feel you can come on a black women’s blog to tell several of us how to be politically correct and sensitive when we’re venting in response to the racist attacks. How typical.

Men have testerone, which makes them more prone to violence by nature. That’s reality, not sexism. Science has shown that as the level of testosterone is manipulated, the level of violence rises. Human males can override this instinct somewhat by using their brains and considering the consequences, but the base nature is there.

The problem is, these IG MUAs have gotten egos from their “fans” and thus they begin to act in the light they are put into. I brought one Jeffree Star liquid lipstick and I love it but I won’t purchase anymore because of his past unsavory ethnicity videos. I believe Shayla said what she said to the girl but could have been in joking because of her sense of humor but this isn’t anything big enough to drag through social media. I’m not sure what’s going on. Mariale was probably uncomfortable on all fronts and confirmed neither one’s story. It appeared to be more of an awkward thank you to both as to not upset them and have them attack her.
