Gabrielle Union, star of BET’s hit drama series Being Mary Jane recently took to her instagram account to show off her new do. She is now rocking tiny individual box braids–a style that literally must’ve took hours to complete!

VERY Pretty, but not me girl. Left those braids in the 90s where they belong. Can’t sit that long anymore, PLUS I love my FULL edges! haha

she’s a beautiful woman and everything looks good on her. I wish she was a bigger celebrity than she is now
I’m scared for her edges. Braids that size put a lot of stress on the hairline. Plus I think her hair is permed which makes breakage a lot more likely.
