Empire‘s own starlet, Serayah McNeill just covered this month’s issue of Bello Magazine with a mega fro and sizzling 70s style to match.
Mcneill recently sat with the Chicago Sentinel and shared how taking on her role as Tiana in Empire helped her to embrace her natural hair:
“My hair has always been curly, I had started to straighten it because I didn’t like how big it was. On the show, Lee wanted my hair big and curly every episode, it helped me accept myself and who I am in my natural state.”

sorry I don’t support people who try to deny or shy away from their blackness. Isn’t she the same girl who keeps mentioning she is 1/4th white and tweeted that in her mind she is a 5’8 white girl. No thanks
