Christina Milian's 5-Year-Old Daughter Violet Applies Makeup Better Than Some Adults in Cute Instagram Videos

Some of us remember peeking into our mother’s closet, trying on clothes and playing in beauty products. I was playing in my mother’s makeup at age 5 and I’ve been a sucker for it ever since. Of course, I was never allowed to leave the house with any kind of makeup on, but I was allowed to explore and play in the comfort of my own home.

Christina Milian’s 5 year old daughter Violet takes ‘playing in mommy’s makeup’ to a whole new level. Earlier this week, the singer posted these videos of little Violet beating her face with tremendous skill.

In the videos Violet doesn’t look like she’s playing at all! I really knew it wasn’t a game when she highlighted her cheek bones, contoured her face, and sculpted her brows. Some might even say that she beats a face better than most adults. Of course, there were those who weren’t too impressed with Violet’s makeup skills and wondered why Christina would allow her daughter to use such heavy makeup.

Then there were those who thought it was all in fun. She’s just a little girl playing in her mother’s makeup as most little girls do.

Honestly, I was impressed with her skills! I think because she’s so used to seeing her mother get dolled up, she picked up on some of those techniques that her mother’s makeup artist may use. Christina may have herself a little makeup artist in the making. It truly looked like Violet was having fun exploring and creating.

Ladies, what are your thoughts? Is Violet too young to play in makeup?

  1. She’s playing not wearing it out or to school. She’s copying her mom…most of us did that.

  2. she’s just playing in make up. my daughter is 3 and i let her wear my lipstick and do my makeup sometimes.

  3. its alright little girls love makeup but it seems like Christina wants her daughter to be a teenager already lol

  4. Little girls don’t play in their mothers make-up anymore? She’s just playing. I did exactly the same when I was her age..we even took pictures.

    1. It’s what ppl do today. Honestly, I really don’t see anything wrong with her playing in her mother’s make-up and having fun. It was an innocent picture. It’s not like she’s made up in a bikini.

  5. I agree its just a little girl playing in with mum’s makeup. A lot of kids do (have done) it. I guess because makeup techniques have changed and gotten so dramatically better over the years, some people think of makeup as being sexy. But everyone wears makeup for different reasons and if you feel makeup always coincides with sex then you’re the one with the problem lol.

  6. Lol, I played in my mom’s make up. Once, when she was at work and my dad was sleep I went full crazy. Lol, I was 5 and used those free samples they hand out at department stores. Long story short, I painted my face so pale, with the brightest lipstick, stuck falseys on my eyelids, with some weird shade of eye shadow, and colored in big square busy eyebrows.

Then I got hungry after all that creativeness and woke my dad to feed me. Scared the living daylights out of him. You would have thought he saw a ghost.
