Introduce yourself!
C: My name is Candice, but you can call me Candi! I currently live in Atlanta, Georgia, but I rep Miami all day every day. I make crazy videos about my hair and my life, and share them with the world! Oh and I work at a hotel. =/
Why did you make the decision to go natural?
C: Because I was tired of burning the ish out of my scalp! I saw all of these naturally beautiful women on YouTube and it inspired me and made me want to be natural, so I did.
When and how did you transition into natural hair?
C: I started to transition in February of 2010 and I did so by not relaxing my hair! Simple as that!
In what ways (if any) has going natural affected you?
C: I have grown more into myself. I feel like I’m more confident and it helps me to help others.
How would you describe your hair?
C: My hair is crazy like me! It’s thick and curly. I would say I’m a 4a/4b.
What is your regimen?
C: I wash my hair using Suave Cleansing Shampoo. I condition my hair with many things. I love to experiment, but mostly I use Yes to Carrots, Giovanni, or Suave Tropical Coconut. To moisturize my hair I use Giovanni Smooth as Silk Direct Leave In and my shea butter and coconut oil mix. That’s pretty much it! Keep it simple ladies!
What mistakes have you made with your hair that you’ve learned from?
C: Over processing my hair when it comes to color. I use to dye my hair way too much!
What’s the best/most effective thing you do for your hair?
C: I always twist my hair up at night with shea butter and coconut oil. It keeps my hair soft and moisturized.

I thought the exact thing!…like a beautiful bushel of blackberries 🙂 I’ve been subscribed to her for a while on Youtube and I love her videos. She’s funny and gives good info and I know this has nothing to do with anything but I always love her music choices for her videos. lol. I want her hair…Mine’s is nowhere near as thick
