Getting one’s “nails did” has been a tradition for centuries, dating back to ancient China and Egypt. Like the black hair industry, the nail industry is BIG business. In 2014, the nail salon industry generated a smooth $8.54 billion. According to a 2012-2013 study in NAILS Magazine, only 5% of nail salon technicians are black women. With black women outnumbered in such a large industry, it’s easy to get overshadowed. So here we’d like to highlight some of those radically awesome nail bosses in the game. Follow them on Instagram and make your appointments! However with talent like this, I’m sure these ladies are all booked up.

Who are doing your nails. Is it black owned shops or black beauticians.Who is getting that 8.54 billion dollars.I didn’t see a race class, but everything else.
I’m not a nail art fan…very interesting though, I do like the blue matte style the best. I would pay all of that money to get them done and then pick each one off, due to being annoyed by the stuff on my nails.
I’m a simple girl, but my cousin loves them.
