Fall has been exciting so far for BGLH Marketplace! A couple weeks ago we were contacted by YouTube to provide 420 whipped butters for a homecoming event they are having at Howard University! This is the biggest order we’ve received to date and we were working on a 5-day deadline, plus we had to keep filling online and storefront order. It was a challenge but after logging quite a few weekend hours we knocked it out. This is about a third of the complete order…
It felt really good to deliver the order when it was done. But we didn’t have much time to rest. We were also recently selected by Buzzfeed to vend at their #BuyBlack Holiday Pop Up Shop in Manhattan on November 15. It was a huge honor to be chosen alongside beauty brands we’ve looked up to for years. We’ll provide more details about the event as it draws near.

In the midst of all this exciting news, we hope you’ve noticed that our processing times have dropped significantly. All year it was our goal to build our inventory levels up so we could ship things fast. For the past few weeks have been shipping orders out in 1 to 2 business days. That’s how we feel it should be, and it’s our goal to keep this up going forward.
