Great. I’ve been looking for a nice black lipstick for a few years. O very dark red but not much success. Would have been nice to see some dark skin tones here.
I didn’t say there wasn’t….???? I said there was a “high contrast” on deep brown skin which there is even though there is more of a contrast on light skin.
I rock it all the time. But then, I rock red, blue, purple, green, orange, purple, pink, and yellow as well.
Didn’t know that it was even up to debate as to what skin color it looks best with or that it was a thing folks were against. What little boxes some folks place themselves in.
You have got to be kidding. Black lips on black women looks like you have sick burnt lips. It looks horrible. I remember being young and my mom used to wear brown lipstick, I thought it looked gross. Red and pink look more ladylike, sorry.
Eh black not so much for me personally…I like colors such as a deep violet or dark red. I don’t think everyone can rock black lipstick whether you’re light, dark, or in between

Gorgeous! I think black lipstick is a surprisingly lovely colour on most women but IMO it’s especially beautiful on deep brown skin…something about the high contrast is just so stunning! I have like five shades of black lipstick (and yes, they’re all different, lol) and I will most definitely be rocking them this season and the next. #blacklips365
you do realize that it’s more of a contrast on light skin, right? I agree that it does look better on WOC….but yeah
