I mentioned her in an earlier post, but she is worth mentioning again. Her channel contains hair style tutorials, length retention tips, and adventures with her hair.
2. SecretlyLimitless
She has beautiful kinks and her channel mostly features hair styles. For you ladies with shorter hair who are stuck in a style rut, definitely check her out.
3. Simplycre8eve
If you recognize this YouTuber that is probably because you’ve seen her in a few style posts. Her channel includes many creative hairdos and makeup ideas. Check her out if you’re looking for something fresh and new.
4. Pure Estrogen
She has numerous elegant hair style tutorials on her channel. She also has some product reviews. Check her out if you’re looking for either.
5. NaturallyCreole
I think she favors Rihanna a bit … but I digress. Her channel is not just about hair but fashion as well.
6. MyFroandITV
She is the “30 days, 30 updos” lady. Her channel features a ton of beautiful looks for short natural hair. Check her out if you are in a style rut.
7. jemy1415
Her channel showcases tons of hair style tutorials and some hair care videos. If you’re looking for some new styles or tips, definitely check her out.
8. Nalia1908
She has long, fine natural hair and shares informative hair care and hair style videos on her channel. Check her out especially if you have fine tresses.
9. Sharterrka03
This lady has tons of creative protective styles on her channel. Check her out if you want more protective style options.
10. DiscoveringNatural
Her channel not only features hair style tutorials for ladies but some for young girls (with her cute daughter as the model). She also shares hair care tips and a few recipes for products.

Thank you for this list of women with hair that a significant number of black women can relate to & so there tips could actually be useful. For some reason these channels are hard to find instead your bombarded with ones of flinging hair, perfect ringlets, your hair is never going to do that yet they have 97,000 women watching & failing time after time. But I digress. I can’t wait to check these channels out. Thanks again.

wow, thanks for this list. i was actually looking for YTers such as this recently, and i have to agree with others in that the kinky coily crowd is not nearly as visible as the kinky curlies. i already subscribed to one lady here b/c of this post but i may end up subscribing to them all. 😀
Nah-uh, I’m subscribing to all if them. Nobody told m to be exclusive. This is fabulousicious at its best and all these styles makes my heart races. I’m stuck with my hair and I could borrow this topic because I’m having trouble with uneven ends, more hair in the front than in the back and what products I really need to achieve a style(no curls or coils) I’m 4cbut I think I’m 4b because aftery hair is washed, I see little coils in the front and back so I need help with my hair.

Naptural-not only does very humble,very,very nice lady do tutorials,maintainence of natural hair etc..sher has a very popular vlog with her baby Olivia and husband..its very addictive.
They are so cute!! And I like how to the point her tutorials are. She doesn’t hmmm…and haaaa.
Naptural 85 is mostly 4a and has a softer curl texture. A lot of the styles she does won’t work for kinkier hair…most of these ladies are 4c, which is a different hair texture.

I know you said you’ll be back to blogging soon, but I have hair similar to yours and detangling is driving me crazy!!! You said that you have finger detangling ‘down’, has it made that big a difference?? It seems like so much hassle 🙁

Yep I will be back to blogging once i’m done with uni (I can’t wait!).
I completely hear you about detangling it used to frustrate me so much!
The short answer is yes it makes a difference.
The long answer…
To be honest if I was to choose the one thing that has made the biggest difference to the overall health of my hair it would be finger detangling. I tried using all types of combs and brushes, modified denmans, seamless wide tooth combs, but they would SHRED my ends. As in my ends were so damaged it’s a wonder they were still there. What I mean is I would have so much breakage and the hairs that survived the comb would have incomplete splits running to half way up the strand. No amount of steam sessions, protein treatments or any other kind of cosmetic process would fix it. My hair just isn’t suited to combing so finger detangling is pretty much the only option for me. I’ve been doing it for two years now and I haven’t seen an incomplete split since! Using a conditioner that has a ton of slip and detangling in sections then twisting once the section is done is key for me. I also detangle on dry hair because of how tiny my coils are but some people prefer wet.

That was super helpful!! I’m ashamed at the state of my ends and I didn’t know what was causing it… I’m definitely going to give finger detangling a go!!! Oh, and your vid was super helpful as well. Overall thanks for taking the time to respond, detangling had me feeling so overwhelmed 🙁

You should definitely check out Glamtwinz334. They have super long, beautiful 3c hair, and they post lots of informative hair & beauty vids.
