So we reopened on August 24, and were so excited to start filling and shipping your orders—especially orders for our three new scents: Vanilla Chai, Vanilla Rose and Bergamot & Lime. (I’m honestly obsessed!)
To celebrate our reopening, we quietly upgraded to insulated shipping every order placed in our first two weeks—whether the customer paid for it or not.
It was a secret promotion that we didn’t announce.
(Subscribers receive free insulated shipping upgrades from June through August, but other customers should keep selecting insulated shipping when it’s necessary. I’m looking at you, Texans and Floridians—you shouldn’t even be looking at that non-insulated shipping butter until October. 😂)
But in our excitement, we miscalculated.
Our freezer can hold approximately 100 packages, and we’ve received several hundred orders since reopening. We now have a queue of packed orders waiting for their turn in the freezer.

If you’ve received a tracking number that hasn’t started moving yet, this is why. Your order has been packed, but it’s still waiting its turn to freeze before being handed over to USPS.
We are emptying the freezer today and immediately refilling it with the next group of packages. And as temperatures cool and fewer orders require insulation, this bottleneck should resolve over the next few weeks.
But we messed up, and I’m so sorry. 😫
I especially want to apologize to the customers who paid for insulated shipping and are now experiencing a delay because we extended complimentary upgrades to others. You planned ahead, and we are truly sorry that our decision delayed your shipment. 😔
