The talented Supermodel, Jourdan Dunn looked ever so stunning on the Met Gala red carpet rocking Burberry with cornrows fit for a goddess (contrary to the belief of the team over at Lauren Conrad’s blog that cornrows are a ‘jail hairstyle.’)
Dunn’s cornrows were gathered into a low elegant ponytail for the evening.
Also, our darling Zoe Kravitz rocked her box braids with an Alexander Wang gown.
Lookin’ just like her mama!

I like that they are elevating urban, African american hairstyles to levels that are not seen in these kinds of spaces. They look beautiful.
Why do people always equate black or African culture with urban? These hair styles are worn all over the globe by people of African descent Jordan herself isn’t from America she’s from Britain with African Caribbean roots. she does look beautiful much more than she does with the straight hairstyles but that’s just me being bias.
