Culturally when we discuss black skin, it is often framed as problematic. It is “too dark” or “too light”, but New York photographer Chandler Easley of the Cherry Collab highlights the simple beauty of black skin by posing women of color against vivid backdrops. Check out some of the stunning pictures;

You can find the Cherry Collab on Instagram, Tumblr and at their official website.

If only black men could see the beauty in us that we see in ourselves.
COME THROUGH MELANIN!
Wow, so gorgeous! 😀
These girls are stunning.
I need these printed and posted in my dorm room. Absolutely gorgeous. Easily some of the most beautiful women I have ever seen.
Black girls are everything. Too gorgeous.
Wow. The photographer and makeup artist worked with the skin undertones and backdrops really well. This is art.
:SWOON:: I need prints…these are ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!
omg this is the same guy who posted all of someone’s nudes and sent them to her school because she wouldn’t sleep with him. disgusting human being. idk how much he claims to love black women.
This reminds me of that saying, “I’m black, I match everything”.
Gorgeous
Beautiful pictures.
Gorgeous – perfectly done.
Truly beautiful!
These photographs are absolutely gorgeous!
We do rock vibrant colors really well. I see it when we rock bright African clothing/fabric. Color does really pop against our skin tone. I wished we did it more, especially with the natural hair. We simply look gorgeous with that combo.
Beautiful
Absolutely stunning pictures and women.
Where did my original comment go? Anyway, I love his portraits. I follow him on IG
