Regal and glorious, black women have a long history of adorning themselves with head wraps. If we are queens, then they are our crowns. Bronx photographer Joey Rosado of Island Boi Photography has captured black women wearing head wraps created by Fanm Djanm (which means ‘strong woman’) and Hadja Ndiaye. The photos exude beauty and power. We are absolutely loving it!
