We’ve been seeing these “Melanin on Fleek” T‑shirts popping up all over IG and we’re kind of feeling the message. It’s a modern twist on “Black is Beautiful” and we like it. We like it a lot.
According to creator, Evertt X Blake, the brand endeavors to “promote original and collaboration pieces that exemplify black excellence using the very tools the media applies in its efforts to degrade, demean, and dilute said excellence. Using various social media outlets, we ask our customers to help with our efforts to promote positivity and give back to the community.”
As part of their #giveblack project, for every 20th purchase, Evertt X Blake donates a shirt to the homeless.

Never liked the word ‘fleek’, but I always love pro black anything.
I don’t live in the USA. Where can I get one please?
I hate that fleek word but I am grateful for my Melanin I would only get it if they changed that fleek word to something else
agree
I think this is something really awesome for young black teens and college age young adults, especially now that black women seem to be an easy target for everyone. I wish there was something like this when I was growing up. Anyway, love it!
