African black soap is made up of dried plantain skins, palm leaves, cocoa pod powder, and kernel oil and has been used for generations as a West African beauty remedy. We import our black soap from Ghana and don’t manipulate it in any way except to shape it into the cute heart-shaped bars you see below!

The thing that sets black soap apart from many cleansers on the market is that it works for all skin types, from rough to sensitive. In addition to keeping skin balanced and smooth it also works against wrinkles and premature signs of aging. It can be used as a targeted facial treatment, or on the whole body!
