Now if it’s one thing the ladies on the Real Housewives of Atlanta are known for, it’s drama, shade…and the occasional hair hat.
Well it appears RHOA star Cynthia Bailey is leading the charge for a day free of protective styles with her #nowignoweaveday. Bailey, who previously revealed her natural hair on Instagram posted the following photo with the wig/weave free hashtag.

Productive day #happyholidays2015 #noweavenowigday#cheekbones
Soon after she posted the following photo with her co-star Sheree Whitfield.

Me & @shereewhitfield last night?Love this picture of us. #goodtimes #noweavenowignight #happyholidays
Even Nene Leakes participated in the #noweavenowignight in a photo that has since been deleted from Bailey’s Instagram account:

Fun dinner, laughs & drinks with @neneleakes #happyholidays #noweavenowignight #goodtimes
Way to go ladies. Let those scalps breathe.
What do you think of the #noweavenowighnight?
obviously pretty face but her hair looks really thin and damaged :/
a pretty face.…she is a model…
How sad that they all felt the need to straighten their own ‘revealed’ hair.
I don’t wear weave or wigs so this is me everyday!
They look so much better with their real hair. I hate weaves and wigs
Many Black women who wear weaves and wigs are suffering from progressive hair loss because of various types of genetic and acquired alopecia and likely “hate weaves and wigs,” too.
No. Many black women suffering from alopecia BECAUSE of wearing too much weaves and wig
I LIKE it. I hope they HAVE a part 2…But go super natural NEXT time!!!
it would impress me if they had their afro textured hair … this is a cop out.
Every day and night is no weave/wig night for me. We exist.
Why is it that a black woman has to have a hair reveal? I am a black woman and I’m super tired of other black woman claiming to love their natural hair but they stay unbeweaveable. I cant take you serious at all. Its like me saying “I love being brown” but I still bleach my skin. #whenuknowbetterdobetter
