Remember the high school afrocentric prom dress that broke the internet? Well this 25-year-old’s birthday is surely going to follow suit. Netherlands-born Maybeline Akua just celebrated her 25th birthday in a big way. She paid homage to her Ghanaian roots by donning regal attire of kente fabrics and traditional chunky beads, and made a grand entrance on the shoulders of 4 men draped in kente cloth. Peep the photos below and see how Maybeline made her 25th birthday fit for a queen.

She is drop-dead gorgeous, and the colors and style complement her skin tone and figure. Black women look stunning in gold and in rich colors.

Jaw Dropping! I think that party was bangin and tight! I wish I could have had my 20th birthday party just like that, maybe a mixture of Ghana, Nigeria, and Egyptian. Then some music and a African line dance. It is all so royal there. She looks cute?
