Happy fall, BGLH readers! Although I try to not buy *too* many new products (my holy grail list is pretty much complete), every so often my product junkie-ism kicks in. Without even trying, Iโve found some really great conditioners that I had never tried, and wanted to share them with you all. These conditioners are good for detangling as well as moisture making them perfect for a rinse out conditioner, or even a deep conditioner if youโd like to leave them in a bit longer. Hereโs my line up:
Giovanni 2Chic Brazilian Keratin & Argan Oil Ultra-Sleek Conditioner
I grabbed this on a whim in Whole Foods one day and was pleasantly surprised as my hair can be hit or miss with Giovanni products. The Giovanni Ultra-Sleek Conditioner is incredibly rich and smells amazing โ kind of a sweet smell that I canโt quite put my finger on. Iโve used it for detangling as well as deep conditioning, and it always makes my hair feel buttery and strong at the same time, which is my favorite result to get from a conditioner with a type of protein. I love that I can buy it locally and 24oz will only set you back around $15.
Tresemme Perfectly (un)Done Weightless Moisturizing Conditioner
If youโre a fan of Tresemme Naturals, Perfectly (un)Done is another one to add to your arsenal. Itโs silicone free, and also gives the same great slip weโve come to love over the years. Perfect for detangling because itโs super inexpensive and will certainly last you awhile. This one is especially great for those with fine hair because itโs not a heavy conditioner at all while still providing ample moisture.
DevaCurl Decadence One Condition
If youโre looking for a higher end conditioner, check out the new line from DevaCurl. My gripe with their products has always been that I wish they were a wee bit more moisturizing, and DevaCurl Decadence has answered that call. I was curious about this product because Iโd never seen chufa milk in a natural hair product before, and its milky consistency makes it great for detangling โ I also think this one is good as a leave-in (multi-use to get the most bang for your buck) if you donโt mind glycerin, which is usually okay for me during fall. Sidenote: The Decadence No Poo is thebomb.com, so you may want to try them both.
Camille Rose Jansynโs Moisture Max Conditioner
Camille Rose updated the formula for this conditioner about a year ago, and boy, was it worth it. For one, it smells like Hawaiian Punch to me and the slip is ah-maze-ing. Even though itโs marketed as a rinse out conditioner, I have no issue using it as a deep conditioner, even if I only have the time to leave it in for five minutes. Itโs that juicy. This indie gem quickly rose to the top of my list as one of my favorite conditioners, especially when I want to treat my hair. My only con? That itโs not sold in a jumbo size.
And those are only a few of the conditioners Iโve been dabbling in. For more product choices, check out my holy grail and honorable mentions list at Quest for the Perfect Curl. And for the sake of full disclosure, I have used all of these products multiple times and purchased them myself with the exception of the DevaCurl โ I got to test that one before it was released, but Iโd certainly have no issue picking it up myself.
What products are you using this fall?
Lemme preach on DIS! I tried the Decadence line 2 days ago, & that conditioner IS bomb! The No-Poo is excellent as well, and what did me in was the Heaven N Hair DC!!!! Lawdtttt!!!! What scorcery was THAT?! Best twist out in FAH-EVER EVER, and itโs shiny, glossy, and feels UN-productโy โ which I LUV! Devacurl for the WIN (@least on THIS low-po, dense, 3c curlie)!!!
I wish I could get those over here in China ๐
