30 Headwraps for the Long, Short and Loc’ed Part 1

Headwraps aren’t new. I’m sure many of us have seen women dressed in traditional African attire, including elaborate and intricately designed headdresses. Today we’re seeing more and more women in western cultures donning these head wraps as both a fashion statement and protective style. Let’s face it, if you’re a naturalista who hasn’t moisturized, or put on your satin bonnet for a few days, no doubt, you’re going to be looking for your nearest hat or headwrap to instantly up your cute factor. The ladies featured below equally slay and inspire as they fearlessly rock their headwraps and teach us a thing or two about style:

Does anyone know where you can purchase headwraps?

Yes! I always purchase my head wraps from http://www.fanmdjanm.com/. One of her beautiful head wraps appears in the 2nd to the last photo gallery! If you’re from the New York area, you can visit her shop; she has all the information listed on her website. I must warn you: her head wraps are addictive and they’ve become very popular and sell out FAST!

I’ve been wearing wraps for about a year now, but I always have my entire head covered because I use a wig cap. Thank you for the new possibility of wearing my wraps in a new way!

I buy plain scarfs because it’s hard to find cute printed scarfs. I only know one way to wear a headwrap looking for other designs
