Introduce yourself!
A: My name is Carole Adele “Supreme” Williams AKA Adele Supreme. I was born and raised in South Central LA. I am an artist, natural hair stylist, model, creative director and wardrobe stylist.
Why did you make the decision to go natural?
A: I’ve been natural my whole life. I used to beg my mother for a relaxer, but she always turned me down. I didn’t fall in love with my tresses until I reached high school.
How would you describe your texture?
A: My hair is predominantly 4c. The curl pattern is a lot looser in the front, but coarse nonetheless. It’s extremely thick and dense. I’ve cut my hair 4 times within the past 4 years in an attempt to keep maintenance low.
Describe your styling regimen over the course of the month.
A: I’m pretty lazy with my hair. Part of that is because I spend an abundant amount of time dealing with everyone else’s! And because I’m a pretty low maintenance chick. I plait my hair once every few days. I’ll use Shea Moisture Frizz-Free Curl Mousse and Alikay Naturals Moisture Rich Hair Parfait. I’ll either wear it out or pull it up. I spray it with The Roots Naturelle Braid & Conditioner spray daily. I comb my hair about once to twice a month (honestly). When my hair is combed, it expands to three times its size, which looks nice but gets in the way.
What does wash day look like for you?
A: Well, when it’s time for me to shampoo my hair, I’ll usually have someone else do it for me because it’s so thick and dense. I have a difficult time getting my scalp thoroughly cleaned. But when that day arrives, I use Gabel’s Lemon Fluff Shampoo first. It’s a throwback clarifying shampoo that’s been around for a pretty long time. I follow up with Paul Mitchell Color Protect Daily Shampoo as well as Shea Moisture Moisture Retention Shampoo. For a deep condition I use the Shea Moisture Deep Treatment Masque and I’ll sometimes add a little coconut oil to my conditioner for extra lubrication.
Describe your favorite go-to hairstyle for days when you don’t have a lot of time to style.
A: I’ll give myself a large flat twist going up into a top knot. It’s simple, quick and adorable.
How do you combat shrinkage?
A: I blow out my hair once a month and I refrain from using an abundant amount of water based products. Water based products are essential for moisture, which is why I use The Roots Naturelle Braid & Conditioner spray daily, however I don’t over saturate my strands with hair milks/creams.
Tell us about your hair color?
A: I bleached and colored the blonde patch in my hair using the Wella Professionals system. A few months after that I colored it hot pink and then covered that up with an amber colored semi permanent from the Adore line. It hasn’t changed my texture. I just love the groovy mixture of colors going on right there. Looks like a Big Stick Popsicle when you part it.
What are some of your problem areas (if any) that require special care and attention?
A: My blonde patch isn’t necessarily a “problem” but it does require the most attention because it was bleached. I’m always sure to saturate that patch with plenty of moisturizer to prevent breakage.
What are 2 do’s for your texture?
A: Do moisturize
What are 2 don’ts for your texture?
A: Don’t shampoo hair without detangling first

It’s awesome to see Adele Supreme featured here! Her hair was the inspiration for my haircut; I totally hope my hair grows out to look like hers.
How cool is she?!!!! I love every pic and that colour is cute and your hair is popping.
I recently re blogged her pic on my tumblr! Great hair and great feature!
Finally! I had to do a double take when I saw Adele had been posted to the website. I get so much inspiration from her instagram in my own hair and when I style others! She’s hands down fabulous.
She has a great figure – another section coming on? Naturals and fitness – that would be inspirational. This site has so much more scope than hair and style alone.
Slamming hair and slamming body.
love dramatic hair
She seems like a very free spirit. I love how confident she comes across, it’s very refreshing.
She looks great from head to toe.
