What are your favorite Michelle Obama looks? And what do you think of Michelle Obama’s Essence cover?
She is absolutely stunning!
Absolutely amazing
She looks particularly good in Lauren (2), Lanvin (6), and in the dress she wore to honor Jared C Monti (10).
Gorgeous! Can’t wait to get this issue in the mail.
Love her. Love.
I absolutely adore the vintage dress (on page 9) that she wore. Gorgeous.
here are two other great outfits. she seems to do very well with gowns but she has had some moments where I scratched my head. and even though shes an older woman, im in my twenties and I would wear some of these outfits. O made a great choice marrying her.

Mrs. Obama is absolutely breathtaking! I am so thrilled, and proud that she is OUR First Lady.
SHES AMAZING
Her skin is like butter. I wanna know what she’s using cause that ain’t regular lotion that’s got her skin all even and gleamy like that.
Dear Mrs Michelle,
I think you are wonderful. Always graceful, always articulate, always on point. and when i’m older i want to be just like you. In fact i don’t think i can wait that long…

In the next edition of Webster’s dictionary, or any other dictionary for that matter, when they go to define “elegance”, they need to put a picture of First Lady Obama as the illustration. Few other women I’ve seen in pictures lately embody it the way she does.
Love the arms — she’s so graceful and beautiful. Very proud of her.
She looks AMAZING in every dress. So elegant.
I still tear up when I think about what an accomplished, beautiful and mystifying First Lady we are fortunate to have — I am grateful, thank you Essence (tk goodness for Constance White taking over as editor as well, lol!).
loooove her! she’s one of my style icons for sure!
I can’t help but admire our intelligent, elegant, and beautiful First Lady! She is such an inspiration is so many ways for us: as an individual, wife, mother, and more.
I’m actually not a fan of this cover photo, but Mrs. O is just FAB-U-LOUS!!! I honestly can’t decide which of the Obama power couple I love more — I guess it’s like having kids, I love them both equally and differently. As for Michelle, she is just an amazing woman. She runs her home, is comfortable in her own skin, and sets a great example for what it means to be a 21st century American women (let alone a black woman). The Obamas have re-written the script for what it means to be the First Family, and there will… Read more »

I wish she would stop straightening her hair.
The last white gown is absolutely stunning…I think I may steal that type of dress when I get married one day, it’s just so beautiful!
