Introduce yourself.
K: I live in “Morningside Heights”, but I’m reppin HARLEM ALL DAY. I’m a scandalous vandal looking for things to mishandle. OR a rapper/singer/songwriter.
Why did you make the decision to go natural?
K: God made that decision. I just never counteracted it.
When and how did you transition into natural hair?
K: Place: Womb Time: Around October 1988
In what ways (if any) has going natural affected you?
K: It’s been awesome the whole time. I would imagine liberation for those who had perms since they were young…Kind of like Harriet Tubman and the underground railroad. Now you back and show others the way OUT!
How would you describe your hair?
K: It’s curly, straight, kinky, wavy depending on which strand you pull out. Not very thick until I tease it into a fro. That’s probably why I love wearing it this way. 🙂
What is your regimen?
K: About 2x a week I separate my hair into 4 sections and put in lots of shea butter, pick it out and braid. I let it chill over night and then wash with whatever shampoo and conditioner is in the bathroom. I try to wash only my scalp with the shampoo so i don’t dry out my ends. Put some sort of leave in conditioner or oil or whatever’s around to lubricate the hair follicles, then shake dry and fluff. BONG.
What mistakes have you made with your hair that you’ve learned from?
K: I dyed it WAY too much as a child because I was “experimenting”. Ladies, leave your hair alone unless you know how to take care of it PROPERLY.
Is there a blog/webpage where we can find you?
K: www.KalaeAllDay.com
Anything else you want to add?
K: Be a goddess and spread love wherever you go and pay it forward even if no one gave it to you first, nah’mean?
Oh i love her she’s so funny. Nice hair too.
Love her style. Love her humor. Love her hair.

my mother wore a jacket like that in the 90s
LOVE her hair!
The should be the new BGLH motto. Where did you go natural? Womb.
The end. I love that she’s so nonchalant about it, which is the way it should be. It grows like this, so it’s like this. Case closed.
