Where do you live?
M: I live in Sweet Home Alabama! I am a mother of one and a realtor. I just recently joined the fun blogging world.
Why did you go natural?
M: I decided to go back natural because I got tired of the whole relaxing process. My hair would grow then it would break.

Being natural is a beautiful thing to me. I love watching my hair evolve. The natural hair community has connected me to many people. Plus, I get to help others on their journey! Being natural is a choice that many are choosing to do now. Don’t listen to negativity. Just be you and be proud!
How would you describe your hair texture?
M: My hair is kinky with thick strands, dense, and very porous.
What’s your regimen?
M: I just started a new regimen a month ago. I use Hair One Cleansing Conditioner (Olive Oil) then I deep condition with Aubrey Organics Honey Suckle Rose. I use a homemade leave in conditioner created by Kimmaytube which includes: Kinky Curly Knot Today, aloe vera juice, jojoba oil, and I swap the castor oil for grape seed oil. It makes my hair really soft. If I’m doing a twist set, then I use Miss Jessie’s Curly Meringue or Jane Carter Solutions Leave in Conditioner. For daily moisture, I use my homemade mixture of shea butter, coconut oil, and jojoba oil.
What mistakes have you made with your hair that you’ve learned from?
M: I have learned that not everything people use and recommend is good for your hair! For example, I tried the baking soda and it left my hair very dry and apple cider vinegar does nothing for me. I have learned to do my research and know what works well for me.
What’s the best/most effective thing you do for your hair?
M: Simply deep conditioning twice a month and wearing protective styling has worked well for my growth
Is there a blog/webpage where we can find you?
