I love it. Something about the styles of the sisters from the Motherland is so intrinsically beautiful. Westerners may view these styles as daring or even overtly edgy, but something about these styles takes me to a home where I have never been, but yearn to see.

yup, #5 is a wodaabe woman (a subgroup of the fulani ethnic group)

Another thing to note is that when you research the history of fashion in europe you’ll see were europeans actually took a lot of the hairstyles etc and even had clothing to mimck a african women’s body.
